THINK track on cover CD UNSIGNED MAGAZINE
Hey Thinksters!
Just to let you know that thE.thinkinG.principlE have a track available on the free cover disc in this issue of UNSIGNED MAGAZINE
( http://www.unsignedmag.co.uk/ )
Click the link above to go to their site. Also includes a short interview and CD review (8 out of 10)
Unsigned magazine is a professionally printed (full colour covers, b&w inside) quarterly zine based in the Midlands, UK and distributed everywhere we can get into. We pretty much cover a wide range of music genres under the big old "alternative" spectrum from Indie to Metal and as the name suggests we mainly focus on unsigned bands (but also sneakily include interviews with bigger bands and occasionally review those on smaller indie like labels every now and then).
Music, rants, raves, random amusing interviews, industry advice and tips for bands, features, stories and shenangians and the list goes on! What we're doing is bringing a new zine to the underground and mainstream music fans by offering a much needed honest alternative piece of reading material which we hope you'll find interesting and continue to support. So buy a copy today and we'll love you forever :)
Only £2 !!! Check it out!
ALSO CHECK OUT EXCLUSIVE NEW VERSION OF "RECORDING INTO MEMORY" WITH KEYBOARDS FROM STEVEN BINGLEY (FIFTH SEASON) ONLY ON OUR MYSPACE NOW!!
keep thinkinG!

LATITUDE FEST
Thanks to all the people who came to support thE.thinkinG.principlE recently at the LATITUDE FESTIVAL. We were clearly the heaviest band at the festival- and turned a few heads with our music- but hope to have converted some people to tech in the process.
We had fun- hope you did too. Great fest and bloody HOT!!!! All burnt to crispy critters at the end of it! Ha ha!
Look forward to gigging again soon. |

THINKING WITH ATHEIST
thE.thinkinG.principlE recently met up with Tech metal legends Atheist at Bloodstock Festival. We have all been ‘fans’ of their music for many years- and after travelling to Birmingham (13 years ago) to see them play, (only to find Kelly couldn’t get into the country with Visa problems) it was v-cool to finally see/hear them perform.
13 years ago we were lucky enough to ‘hang out’ with the rest of the band and chat-
So it was great to catch up and talk again at the fest. (Check out the fun Atheist -thE.thinkinG.principlE- endorsement pics. (Below)More pics etc at myspace site-
(or go to our myspace site in links section)
Big hello to the Gnostic guys (guitars) – who stood in and made our dream of seeing Atheist perform a reality. (Check out their page on myspace)- also featuring Steve Flynn on drums. |

NEW DEMO RECORDINGS & STUDIO NEWS
thE.thinkinG.principlE have decided that the current recordings of new songs will act as pre demo versions before thE.thinkinG.principlE go into the studio to record ‘real’ versions of three (possibly four) songs.
We decided that although the music (demo songs online at present) gives an idea of thE.thinkinG.principlE sound- it fails to capture the true ‘vibe’ and heaviness, and the songs suffer as a consequence.
Dates are being booked as soon as possible to unleash these creations onto the world.
Watch this space.
It is possible that the demo versions of the songs may appear online also- |

By now you have all had a chance to listen to the two ‘demo’ songs and the feedback has been very positive. Thanks.
At last you all have an understanding of our sound. We are still working on new songs and the new tunes are killer! (biased I know) wait and see (hear!)-
thE.thinkinG.principlE musicians are really gelling together and the different influences are becoming out in the songs. |

"Off timing riffage! Reminds me of the
old days. The world needs more bands like this!" -Alan Tecchio
QUOTE FROM THE MIGHTY ALAN TECCHIO - SINGER FROM TECH MASTERS WATCHTOWER!
thE.thinkinGprinciplE are thrilled to have a quote about the band by the singer- (currently singing with Seven Witches ) who kindly took the time to listen to the tracks online and mailed a response.
Alan has and still is a big influence on JK's vocals- and this means alot to him and the band.
Keep listening- spreading the word and most importantly- thinkinG!!!

March 2006
thE.thinkinG.principlE are currently writing songs for a CD release later this year)- We have six songs written with plenty of idea’s for another few at the moment.
We are also in the progress of recording a rough demo of 3 of the first songs written on home gear to make available to download on site (a.s.a.p)- check back soon for download links!
At the moment we are all really enjoying the writing process- the chance to write songs without a set restriction is a situation we as musicians relish- (especially after years – (if sub-consciously or consciously) chasing the commercial success dream!!- Metal for the masses!?! Listening to watered down crud! With no real soul or roots!
Back to what we all love - METAL!!
The writing is ever improving as we all get used to each others vibe, style and influence. Each song has it’s own identity as we are working with no boundaries or restrictions sound or style wise right from the start – the next song could be a tech song, or it could be a mellow three chord acoustic song- next an all out thrash metal attack! Whatever feel at the time-
We’re loving it- hope you do too.
somethinG.tO.thinK.abouT.anywaY!!
Talk soon.
